When you send a text message to a business using Appointa, our AI responds on that business's behalf to help manage your appointment. These conversational messages are sent in direct response to your texts. You initiate the conversation, and we reply.

Automated messages

When you book an appointment through a business using Appointa, you may also receive automated messages such as appointment confirmations and reminders. These are transactional messages related to your scheduled appointment. Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity.

Opt-out of automated messages

You may opt out of receiving automated reminder and confirmation messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also opt out by contacting the business directly or by emailing support@appointa.ai. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further automated messages will be sent. You may still text the business and receive responses to messages you initiate.
